Who we are

CheaterBusterAI.us (“CheaterBuster AI”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is responsible for the information described in this policy.

This policy applies to CheaterBusterAI.us and its pages, including the relationship compatibility checker and the contact form. It does not apply to other websites that we link to.

Information you provide

You can use the compatibility checker without creating an account, and without giving us your real name or email address.

We only receive personal information from you when you choose to send us a message through our contact form. The form asks for:

• Your name
• Your email address
• The topic of your message (for example, Tool Feedback or Privacy Questions)
• A subject line and your message

Please only include the information we need to help you. We ask that you do not include sensitive personal details about yourself or others in your message.

Compatibility questionnaire information

The compatibility checker asks about two people, such as a name or nickname, age range, personality traits, communication style, values, interests, lifestyle, relationship goals and views on topics like money, trust, boundaries and children. We understand this can be personal, so we designed the checker to handle it locally.

Sharing and printing your results

If you choose “Share Result”, your device’s own share feature (or your clipboard) receives a short message containing the two names or nicknames you entered and the overall Compatibility Score. You decide whether and where to share it. If you choose “Print / Save”, the report is handled by your browser and printer or PDF software. We do not receive a copy in either case.

Information about other people

The checker asks you to answer questions about another person. Please be respectful of their privacy: use a nickname if you prefer, answer with care, and ideally complete the checker together.

Technical information

Like any website, when you visit CheaterBusterAI.us your browser automatically shares some standard technical information in order to load the pages. This can include your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request.

Our website hosting provider may record this information in server logs to deliver the website, keep it secure and troubleshoot problems. We do not use this information to identify you personally.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites can store on your device. CheaterBusterAI.us does not currently set cookies, and the compatibility checker does not use cookies or other browser storage to save your answers.

If we add features that use cookies in the future, we will update this policy and our Cookie Policy, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Analytics

We do not currently use analytics or tracking tools, such as Google Analytics, advertising pixels or session recording, on CheaterBusterAI.us.

If we decide to use analytics in the future to understand how the website is used and improve it, we will update this policy to describe the tool, what it collects and how you can opt out.

How information is used

We use the limited information we receive only to:

• Read and reply to messages you send through the contact form
• Consider your feedback to improve the compatibility checker and website
• Operate the website, keep it secure and prevent spam or misuse
• Comply with legal obligations, if required

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Legal bases (for visitors in the EU, UK and similar regions)

Where data protection laws require a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running a secure website, and on your consent when you choose to contact us.

Data storage and retention

Third-party services

We use a small number of service providers to run the website. They only receive the information needed to provide their service:

• Website hosting: our hosting provider hosts the website and may process the technical information described in section 4.
• Contact form delivery: a third-party form service receives the information you submit through the contact form and delivers it to us.
• Fonts: our pages load the “Sora” typeface from Google Fonts. To deliver the font, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information. Google’s handling of this information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

These providers have their own privacy policies. We do not share your compatibility answers with any of them, because we never receive those answers.

We may disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or CheaterBuster AI.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle. The contact form includes spam protection, and access to contact messages is limited to the people who need it to reply.

Keeping your compatibility answers on your own device also means there is no central copy of them that could be exposed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you use a shared device, close the checker page when you are finished.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your information
• Object to or ask us to restrict certain uses of your information
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
• Receive your information in a portable format
• Complain to your local data protection authority

Because the compatibility checker does not send your answers to us, we do not hold any questionnaire data to access or delete. For contact messages, you can make a request using the details in section 15. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we may need to confirm your identity first.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Children’s privacy

CheaterBusterAI.us is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, please contact us and we will delete it.

International visitors

CheaterBusterAI.us may be visited from around the world. Contact form messages and technical information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws from your country.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by our providers for these transfers. Your compatibility answers are not transferred anywhere, because they stay on your device.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add new features or services. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, such as beginning to store questionnaire answers or adding analytics, we will make that clear on the website before the change takes effect.
